Ben Hogan Junior Cup Matches

The Ben Hogan Junior Cup Matches is an annual competition between the Northern and Southern Texas PGA Junior Tours’ top six boys and top six girls aged 13-18. The Matches provide a unique, one of a kind experience for each Tour’s best playing junior golfers.  The Ryder Cup style format features 12 junior golfers from each Tour competing in 18-hole Four-Ball and 9-hole foursomes the first day followed by 18-hole Singles Matches the final day.

Texas Junior Cup Matches

The Texas Junior Cup Matches Presented by TCG Advisors is an annual competition between the Northern and Southern Texas PGA Junior Tours' top six boys and top six girls aged 9-12.  The Ryder Cup style format features 9-hole Scramble and Four-Ball Matches the first day followed by 9-hole Singles Matches on the final day. The Matches provide a unique, one of a kind experience for each Tour's younger and more experienced junior golfers.

SA Smith West Texas Junior Invitational

In 2017, PGA Professional Jake McCullough decided to create and host a premier tournament for the junior golfers of West Texas, more specifically the Midland/Odessa area. The decision to honor Mr. SA Smith was an easy one to make. SA Smith was passionate about growing the game of golf through junior golfers. His impact is felt in West Texas communities and all across North Texas and is apparent with every tournament the NTPGA Junior Tour conducts.

With the help of a few dedicated individuals and partners, the first annual SA Smith West Texas Junior Invitational took place on June 27-29, 2017, and hosted 64 junior players. Since the first event, the SA Smith West Texas Junior Invitational has continued to grow and provide a premier tournament in which experience for the junior golfers and the community to take pride.
