The Northern Texas PGA Junior Golf Foundation is pleased to continue its charitable commitment to educational services by announcing its 2013 Junior Golf Foundation and Deloitte Justin Leonard scholarship recipients. The Northern Texas PGA Team Golf program flips the board on the game of golf, by providing Team formatted events to Junior Tour Members. Team Golf teams are created through a facility’s junior golf program, which participate in two distinctive divisions of Team Golf. The Team Golf program offers events for the most beginner level player to the most advanced level player.

The Prep level is for Junior Tour members ages 7-18 who have achieved beginning level golf and tournament experience, and offers competitive 9-hole individual stroke play tournaments. The Prep level provides additional opportunities for skill development and tournament experience. Prep level tournaments are conducted throughout the year in the Metro Area. Recommended average score: 45 or higher

The Metro Medalist level is for Junior Tour members ages 11-18 with tournament experience and a wide range of playing ability. Tournaments offer 18-hole individual stroke play competition and are conducted throughout the year in the Metro Area.

The East and West Area Medalist Levels are for Junior Tour members ages 7-18 with tournament experience and a wide range of playing ability. Recommended average score: 110 or lower

The Junior All American Tour is for Junior Tour members ages 7-10 with a higher level of tournament experience and ability. Junior All American Tour tournaments are 18-hole stroke play competitions conducted over two days, with 9-holes played each day. Junior All American Tour events are conducted throughout the year in all areas of North Texas. Recommended average score: 45 or lower
