Texas Junior Cup Matches

The Texas Junior Cup Matches is an annual competition between the Northern and Southern Texas PGA Junior Tours' top six boys and top six girls aged 12 and under. The Ryder Cup-style format features 9-hole Scramble and Four-Ball Matches on the first day followed by 9-hole Singles Matches on the final day. The Matches provide a unique, one-of-a-kind experience for each Tour's younger and more experienced junior golfers.

Members from the Northern Texas PGA and Southern Texas PGA teams qualify to compete via NTPGA Junior Tour and STPGA Junior Tour events, respectively.

Meet the 2025 Captains

The 2025 Texas Junior Cup Matches captain is PGA member and LPGA teaching professional Jennifer Bermingham. Bermingham is returning for her second year after leading the team to victory in 2024 and currently serves as the Director of Golf Programming at Invited. Previously, her achievements include receiving the 2015 Sandy LaBauve Spirit Award for directing LGPA-USGA Girls Golf, and Low Club Professional honors at the 2016 KPMG Women's PGA Championship.

Chad Moscovic, PGA will join Bermingham for the second year as vice captain for the 2025 Texas Junior Cup Matches. Moscovic currently serves as the Director of Golf Park Programming for the Northern Texas PGA at The Ronny Golf Park in Frisco, TX. Moscovic is a three-time champion of the Northern Texas PGA Professional Championship and has earned the Randy Smith Youth Development Award twice for his leadership in junior development.

Together, Bermingham and Moscovic will look to lead the Northern Texas PGA to its 7th Texas Junior Cup Matches win this September.
