DALLAS, TX – The Northern Texas PGA and Southern Texas PGA are pleased to announce the teams for the 5th Annual Ben Hogan Junior Cup Matches. The Matches will take place at Dallas Athletic Club’s Blue Course from August 10-11, 2020. The event is an annual competition between the Northern and Southern Texas PGA Junior Tours’ top six boys and top six girls aged 13-18. The Matches provide a unique, one of a kind experience for each Tour’s best playing junior golfers.
The Ryder Cup style format features 12 junior golfers from each Tour competing in 18-hole Four-Ball and 9-hole Foursome (Alternate Shot) Matches the first day, followed by 18-hole Singles Matches the final day. The historic Shady Oaks Country Club is the permanent host to the Matches; however, the golf course is undergoing renovations during this year’s event. Dallas Athletic Club will host for the first time in 2020.
Members from the Northern Texas PGA and Southern Texas PGA teams qualify to compete via All American Tour and Prestige Tour events, respectively.
