RYAN PALMER FOUNDATION MEMBERSHIP SCHOLARSHIPS

The Northern Texas PGA Junior Golf Foundation is pleased to announce that Ryan Palmer, former Northern Texas PGA Junior Tour member and current PGA TOUR member, is offering a grant initiative to facilitate playing opportunities for young people in Northern Texas.

In keeping with its tenet of achievement, the Ryan Palmer Foundation would like your help in identifying young people in your area who have a passion for the game of golf but lack the financial means to join the Northern Texas PGA Junior Tour. The Ryan Palmer Foundation has created a scholarship program to provide funds for junior golfers to cover the cost of Northern Texas PGA Junior Tour membership as well as tournament entry fees.

The Ryan Palmer Foundation has provided over $6,000.00 in financial assistance to more than 70 deserving families.

HOLLY & DOUG BROOK FAMILY FOUNDATION

2015 Masters and U.S. Open champion and former Northern Texas PGA Junior Golf Foundation Member Jordan Spieth and the Jordan Spieth Family Foundation as well as the Holly and Doug Brooks Family Foundation, are pleased to provide an initiative to help grow the game in North Texas. This opportunity is specifically for participants in the Drive, Chip and Putt local qualifiers conducted in North Texas that have never been a Member of the Northern Texas PGA Junior Golf Foundation.

Eligible participants will receive a FREE 2016 Northern Texas PGA Junior Golf Foundation Membership, compliments of the Holly and Doug Brooks Family Foundation, along with a $40.00 credit that can be applied to any NTPGA Junior Tour event(s) courtesy of the Jordan Spieth Family Foundation.

“Our family is very excited to partner with the Northern Texas PGA Junior Golf Foundation and the Jordan Spieth Family Foundation to help grow the game in North Texas,” said Doug Brooks. “Getting young golfers involved in the Drive, Chip and Putt competition and signed up as Junior Golf Foundation members is a great way to introduce them to junior golf and all that they learn from these programs. We are also proud to provide three college scholarships to deserving kids and help expand the Northern Texas PGA internship program this year.”

In addition, the Holly and Doug Brooks Family Foundation has embraced the Northern Texas PGA Junior Golf Foundation’s commitment to educational services by providing three scholarships for deserving kids to attend college next year. Also, through this new partnership, the nationally acclaimed Northern Texas PGA internship program will be expanded this fall making additional programs to be offered for kids of all ages and skill levels possible.

MARTIN FLORES FIRST TEE GRANT

PGA TOUR professional and Fort Worth native, Martin Flores, will provide a total of 60 NTPGA Junior Tour memberships to the First Tee programs in North Texas.

"Competing in the NTPGA Junior Tour tournaments while growing up helped me develop my game over the years," Flores said. "I have very fond memories of playing all over North Texas in NTPGA Junior Tour events. Learning how to win at a local level is so valuable, and the NTPGA Junior Tour played an important role in getting me to where I am today."

In addition Flores, will become the namesake of an All American Tour event.

JORDAN SPIETH FAMILY FOUNDATION
