About NTPGA / Northern Texas PGA
NORTHERN TEXAS PGA

The Northern Texas PGA is one of the 41 sections that comprise The PGA of America. The Northern Texas PGA has a professional membership of more than 850. Our geographic territory includes the State of Texas north of the 31st latitude, or just north of Austin. In addition to managing the day-to-day affairs of the Section, the headquarters operates the Northern Texas PGA Junior Golf Foundation, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. The Junior Golf Foundation provides The PGA golf professional an opportunity to impact the game in a most important and lasting fashion. Active involvement with junior golf is, indeed, an opportunity to promote and teach this game of a lifetime to the youth of our communities.

The PGA has the responsibility to impact the traditions and history of golf to the future caretakers of the game. The PGA of America, the Northern Texas PGA and its member golf professionals are recognized as the leaders in the world of golf today.

MISSION
The mission of the Northern Texas PGA is to promote the enjoyment and involvement in the game of golf and to contribute to its growth by providing services to golf professionals and the golf industry.

The Northern Texas PGA will accomplish this mission by enhancing the skills of its professionals and the opportunities for amateurs, employers, manufacturers, employees and the general public.

In doing so, the Northern Texas PGA will elevate the standards of the professional golfers’ vocation, enhance the economic well-being of the individual member, stimulate interest in the game, and promote the overall vitality of the game.
